FUN LEARNING DIALOGUE

In the pharmacy - En la farmacia

Here are some typical dialogues which will provide you with useful phrases and vocabulary for when you need to visit the pharmacy.

Situation 1: Burnt tongue - Situación 1: Lengua quemada

To the assistant: Hello, I need some advice. My son has burned his tongue when he was drinking some hot chocolate, and it is very sore. Do you have anything which can help alleviate the soreness?

Assistant:  This is one of the most difficult things to treat because the tongue is so sensitive. We have some gel which acts as a cooling agent and is not toxic in any way.

Assistant: If he puts it on the sore area after meals and just before he goes to bed it will help.

The other thing you can do is to drink lots of cool drinks, which is not difficult in this climate.

How much does this gel cost?
